An anime adaptation of fantasy comedy series Dungeon People has been announced through an official website and Twitter account. The anime premieres in July 2024 and will be produced by Studio OLM.
Sayaka Yamai will be directing the anime for Dungeon People. Her past anime direction experience includes Life With an Ordinary Guy Who Reincarnated Into a Total Fantasy Knockout along with episode direction for ODDTAXI. Series composition for the anime is by Toshimitsu Takeuchi (Yu-Gi-Oh! Go Rush!!, Total Fantasy Knockout) while Hiromi Nakayama (ODDTAXI) is in charge of character design.
Voice cast includes Sayaka Senbongi (Delicious in Dungeon, Heavenly Delusion) as former thieves’ guild member Clay, and Sayumi Suzushiro as dungeon admin Belle (Bocchi the Rock, 86 Eighty Six).

An “administrator” girl that lives in a dungeon.
She is the boss of the dungeon and has overwhelming fighting powers that could easily defeat Clay.
Belle is usually soft-spoken and gentle, but also tends to hoard things and is bad at cleaning up.
She has no friends.
The original manga series was created by Sui Hutami, whose past work I’ve Had Enough of Being A Magical Girl was adapted into a two season anime. The manga for Dungeon People started in June 2020 and is still publishing new chapters.
Dungeon People depicts the behind-the-scenes life of people living in a hidden dungeon. The series is licensed in English by Seven Seas Entertainment. Three volumes of the manga are available now in English on Amazon.

Clay was trained by her father to be an expert member of the thieves’ guild. Since her father disappeared three years ago, she’s been using her skills to search for him in a dungeon filled with goblins, a Minotaur, and all manner of other dangerous creatures. When Clay reaches deeper than anyone ever has before, she meets the caretaker of the dungeon. To her surprise, Clay is invited to join the staff! And thus begins Clay’s new job–to learn the inner workings and behind-the-scenes secrets of the dungeon from the inside.
