Last year, an event for Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion was held in Chiba to celebrate the anime’s 10th anniversary. At this event, a three movie theatrical version was announced, along with a new animation titled Code Geass: Lelouch of the Resurrection. This upcoming anime is set in the same world, but several years after Zero Requiem. The director says that it stars a Lelouch who is alive, and not an alternate version.
