A new preview was released for the upcoming Fairy Tail movie.
The preview for Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry features the theme “What You Are” by Polka Dots.

Polka Dots includes i☆Ris member Himika Akaneya and Mimi Meme MIMI member Yuki Takao. They have previously done an insert song for the Trinity Seven: Eternal Library and Alchemic Girl anime film.
Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry will open in Japan on May 6.
As well as at least 16 other countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, France and Thailand.
A-1 Pictures is behind the film. It was directed by Tatsuma Minamikawa (who has previously directed for Aldnoah Zero and Attack on Titan). The music was composed by Yasuharu Takanashi, who composed the music for both Fairy Tail and Fairy Tail Zero. The script was written by Shoji Yonemura, who wrote the script for the previous two anime series. GAGA is distributing the film.

- Yuichi Nakamura – Gray Fullbuster
- Sayaka Ohara – Erza Scarlet
Those who purchased tickets in advance for the film in Japan will receive clear files that contain Mashima’s special illustration of Natsu. Also, Theatres will give viewers a free booklet. This will contain rough storyboards for the film that the original manga creator, Hiro Mashima, drew.
