Three months after the end of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind, VIZ announced the cast for the English dub, which starts on October 26th, 2019.
There have been a number of announcements via Twitter of the voice actors who will be dubbing the major six characters. VIZ, known for licensing English releases of Naruto, Death Note, and One Punch Man, revealed the cast appearing in the dub of Golden Wind.

Meet the Cast of the Golden Wind Dub
Now let’s meet the voice actors, their characters, and some of their past work!
Philip Reich as Giorno Giovanna
Golden Wind features Phillip Reich as the voice actor for the lead character Giorno Giovanna. He’s made an appearance in the anime previously as the infamous Yuya Fungami from Diamond is Unbreakable. Reich made a special video announcement on Twitter in response to the casting.
Reich also made appearances Pokemon Masters, which released in late August this year. He voiced two Elite Four members on the show, Will and Marshal. Reich also voices Sugimura, a minor character from the hit game Persona 5 which released worldwide in 2017.
Ray Chase as Bruno Bucciarati
Up next on the list is Ray Chase, featuring as the brave Bruno Bucciarati! Chase is best known for his role as the main protagonist for the game Final Fantasy XV, Noctis Lucis Caelum. Other honorable mentions of his work include his role as Howzer from Seven Deadly Sins and Piccolo from Dragon Ball Super. Additionally, Chase also dubbed a variety of voices for Hunter x Hunter.
Mick Lauer as Leone Abbacchio
The next voice actor to appear in the announcement is Mick Lauer, who will be dubbing the stoic Leone Abbacchio. Lauer has a notable history in acting in youtube videos such as ‘Who Killed Markiplier?’ and has multiple appearances in the JonTron show.
Lauer’s most recent role was in the LEGO City Adventures series, as the “Percival Wheelie Wheeler”. Lauer is also known to appear in several anime abridged series on the media platform YouTube, such as Hellsing Ultimate Abridged and Attack on Titan Abridged, to name just a couple.
Sean Chiplock as Guido Mista
Sean Chiplock will feature in the upcoming dub as Guido Mista, the gun wielder! Chiplock has made a previous appearance in the anime before, as one of the opposing stand users in Diamond is Unbreakable; Toyohiro Kanedaichi. Chiplock has also featured in Hunter x Hunter as Riehlvelt, one of three fighters of the Heavens Arena, and Diabel; a beta tester from the popular anime Sword Art Online.
Kyle McCarley as Narancia Ghirga
Narancia Ghirga will be voiced by the wondrous Kyle McCarley, who is best known for his role as Shigeo Kageyam from the show Mob Psycho 100. McCarley has also appeared in Battle Tendency of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure as Mark the German soldier. Other commendations include his role as Judeau from Berserk, Ryo Asuka from Devilman Crybaby; and Iruka Umino, from Naruto: Shippuden.
Ethan Murray as Pannacotta Fugo
Last but definitely not least, is Ethan Murray as the voice actor for the feisty Pannacotta Fugo. Also known as Ezra Weisz, Murray has voiced characters such as Kikujo from Naruto; and Junketsu the Kamui from Kill la Kill. Other honorable mentions include Wing, a professional hunter from Hunter x Hunter, and Yylfordt Granz; a hollow from Bleach. Murray is the oldest of the main cast at 48 years old, whilst the youngest of the group is Sean Chiplock at 29 years.
