Fire Force season 2, which returns July 2020, is moving forward with a new director and a new music group to perform the theme song!
New director and music group brought on board
Crunchyroll shared that director Tatsuma Minakikawa will take the lead. Having previously directed episodes for Attack on Titan, Persona 5: The Animation, and the Fairy Tale film Dragon Cry, Tatsuma will also handle series composition for season 2.
Also announced, Japanese rock group Cider Girl will be the theme song performer for season 2. They have a rather upbeat sound and have performed theme songs for 7SEEDS and Fox Spirit Matchmaker in the past.
Fire Force season two on schedule for July broadcast
As of now, no delays for Fire Force season two have been announced. But, with all the anime delays caused by COVID-19, it wouldn’t be too surprising if Fire Force was too.
