The event runs from July 1st to July 3rd with announcements happening at around 2-3pm EST.
Seven Seas Event Day 2 Announcements
Today they announced four more licenses they’ve acquired. Here are the newest licenses Seven Seas announced during their NO PANEL, NO PROBLEM event.
Failure Frame by Kaoru Shinozaki, KWKM, Uchiuchi Keyaki, and Shou Uyoshi
Seven Seas’ first announcement is another double-header (light novel and manga adaptation). This time it’s a revenge isekai with abnormal powers.
“Failure Frame: I Became the Strongest and Annihilated Everything With Low-Level Spells light novel and manga series by Kaoru Shinozaki, KWKM, Uchiuchi Keyaki, and Shou Uyoshi, a fantasy series about power and revenge!”
Touka Mimori and his classmates are abruptly catapulted into a fantasy world, summoned by the resident goddess to serve as heroes. The good news? Most of the students display amazing skills upon arrival! The bad? Mimori is the worst of the lot, bottoming out at a measly E-rank. Incensed, the goddess tosses him into a dungeon to die–but it turns out that Mimori’s skills aren’t so much worthless as they are abnormal. Abnormally powerful, perhaps!
Light Novel Vol. 1 prints in March 2021 (with early digital release) for $13.99 USA / $17.99 CAN. Manga Vol. 1 releases in April 2021 for $12.99 USA / $16.99 CAN.
Donuts Under a Crescent Moon by Shio Usui
Next up is another yuri romance, this time a josei-style relatable to teens and adults.
“Donuts Under a Crescent Moon manga series by Shio Usui, a lovely yuri romance about learning to love yourself!”
Uno Hinako throws herself into makeup, fashion, and falling in love, hoping that will make her seem “normal” to the other people at her job. But no matter how hard she tries, she’s a self-doubting mess inside, and her attempts at “normal” romance with men just keep failing. When she starts to think she might be alone forever, a new normal presents itself–in the form of her relationship with Sato Asahi, a level-headed woman who works at her company, which starts as respect until it becomes far more intimate.
Volume 1 releases in February 2021 for $13.99 USA / $17.99 CAN.
Dungeon Toilet by Roots
The third license from Seven Seas today is a toilet fantasy with all the puns in the world about it.
“Dungeon Toilet manga series by Roots, a comedy about the search for the finest toilet in a fantasy land!”
People are often reincarnated into fantasy worlds to answer a higher calling. In this case, that means a quest to find the perfect toilet. Behold as dragon scales are converted into toilet seats and slimes are used as moist wipes in this unique adventure about heroes who truly give a crap.
Volume 1 releases in April 2021 for $12.99 USA / $16.99 CAN.
Dai Dark by Q Hayashida
Lastly for today, Seven Seas brings us a new dark humor manga with necromancy and space action.
“Dai Dark manga series by Q Hayashida, a weird and wild space/necromancy action-adventure from the brilliant mind behind Dorohedoro!”
Zaha Sanko’s body has great and terrible powers–they say that possessing his bones will grant you any wish, even the desire to become ruler of the universe. But Sanko is still a teenage dude with his own life, and he isn’t about to let every monstrous lowlife in the galaxy rip him limb from limb. He and his skeletal buddy Avakian will use their dark powers to fend off any murder attempts while they search space for whomever put this curse on Sanko’s bones…because killing them might end the madness. (And then Sanko can celebrate with his favorite spaghetti.) Don’t miss this hilariously twisted and gruesome new series from Q Hayashida, creator of the manga and Netflix anime Dorohedoro!
Volume 1 will be released in April 2021 for $12.99 USA / $16.99 CAN.
