About The Wonderland
The Wonderland was based off of the 1988 children’s book Chikashitru Kara no Fushigi na Tabi (Strange Journey From The Basement) by Sachiko Kashiwaba. In adapting the book to film, Miho Maruo wrote the script while Russian artist Ilya Kuvshinov designed the characters and visuals.
Bonus features on the Blu-Ray will also include interviews with the Japanese voice cast and commentary with artist Ilya Kuvshinov.
