In the comments of Weekly Big Comic Spirits magazine’s 51st issue, manga author Naoki Urasawa announced that he’s making an anime. No other details have been revealed about it yet.

“I’m making an anime. I hope to be able to show it to everyone soon.”

If you love action-packed, suspenseful anime (or if you checked out our Monster article last month), chances are you already know who Naoki Urasawa is. The manga author is one of the biggest names in the industry. He has created gripping stories and engaging characters throughout various series of manga, including Monster, Pluto, 20th Century Boys, and many more. Urasawa has been hard at working writing different stories since the early 80s and he doesn’t seem to be stopping any time soon.

We are so excited to see what Urasawa has in store for us all. Will it be an anime adaptation of one of his already published manga or stories, or will it be something entirely new? We’re eagerly waiting for more details to surface.
