Fourth Girls und Panzer Film Gets a New Teaser Trailer

Girls und Panzer

The official website for the upcoming Girls und Panzer film has started streaming a brand new teaser trailer for the 4th film in the grand six-part Girls und Panzer das Finale film series.

The website also revealed more content for the most recent film in the franchise. A new promotional video and visual for the third film in the finale series were made available, as well as character and tank visuals for the character Yoko and for the Soviet Union’s T-26 light tank that appears in the film. This is due to the third film’s ongoing run in theaters, now that theater restrictions have lifted across Japan proper. The third film has been running in Japanese theaters since March 26th.

All the films of the finale anime series include 4DX and MX4D screenings in select theatres. Each of these screenings combine two of the films together in a 4D screening. The first 4DX screening combines the first and second episodes. The next set of immersive screenings will combine the third and fourth episodes when those episodes release, and the last set will combine the fifth and sixth episodes after their eventual release as well.

The first movie in the Girls und Panzer das Finale film series opened in Japan in 59 theatres across the country in December 2017. The premise of the finale series features new characters from BC Freedom High School as they engage in a climactic winter battle.

The second film in the series premiered to Japanese audiences in June of last year and depicted the finale of the all-out battle between the Ooarai Girls Academy and the BC Freedom High School. In addition to this, it depicted battles of the Kuromorimine Girls Academy, the Pravda Girls High School, and other schools.

The films were distributed on home video in Blu-ray Disc and DVD formats in February 2018 and included a new original video animation titled Taiyaki War!
