Komi Can’t Communicate is an anime about a girl named Shouko Komi (played by Aoi Koga, known for her work as Kaguya Shinomiya in Kaguya-sama: Love is War) attending her first year at the elite Itan Private High School. In the story, Komi gets immediately overwhelmed with the surge of popularity due to her unprecedented, stoic beauty and refined elegance. However, only Hitohito Tadano (played by Gakuto Kajiwara, known for his work as Asta in Black Clover and Shinra Kusakabe in Fire Force), an average schoolboy assigned to the seat next to hers, has the opportunity to discover that, behind her beautiful appearance, Komi has serious issues in communicating with others.
