On May 10, 2021, manga artist Ayumi Komura shared via Twitter that she is set to launch a new manga series. The series, entitled The Vampire With an Unbalanced Diet Hates Human Blood (Henshoku Kyūketsuki wa Hito no Chi ga Kirai), was launched on the Comic Cmoa website on May 15.

Synopsis of Komura’s The Vampire With an Unbalanced Diet Hates Human Blood
The new manga series’ synopsis, thanks to Anime News Network, follows the main character Yuzuki Arimura, a 28-year-old manga artist. She has become stressed out by her work, so she takes off into the forest to get a bit of brooding done, but she meets a vampire instead. Arimura winds up with the vampire about to sink his fangs into her neck, but he hesitates. Arimura quickly finds out that the vampire can hold back his desire to drink blood when he feels pleasure after she unthinkingly touches him.
Komura’s Past Work
Komura most recently wrapped up two other manga series: The Dentist Was a Virgin Guy (Okuchi no Sensei wa Shojo Danshi) and Those Two Keep it Strictly Business (Akumade Futari wa Business desu). Both manga series fall into the shojo genre, which Komura has come to be known for.
Another of Komura’s manga series, Favoritism of the Gods (Kami-sama no Ekohiiki) has also inspired a live-action adaptation.
