Hatsu Kiss: A Short History

The manga magazine was originally a print magazine that was launched by Kodansha in the summer of 2014. After Kodansha’s Kiss Plus magazine stopped publishing in early 2014, Hatsu Kiss was meant to serve as its successor publication.

After four years of publishing print issues, the magazine published its final print issue in April 2018. Digital-only publication began in June 2018, and its publishing schedule switched to a monthly schedule.

Other manga series published in Hatsu Kiss include Batsukoi by Tsukiko and Steve Jobs by Mari Yamazaki.
