Calling all Pokémon Go fans! Pokémon Journeys: The Series is hosting an Animation Week 2020 event for the anime series, with a special Pokémon Go event during the second week of November.
You can get access to this event on November 6th (8am), and the event ends on November 12th (10pm). The event should follow your local timeframes.
Pokémon Go Animation Week 2020 event details
The Animation Week 2020 event will include the following:
- Access to exclusive events, including a Timed Research coinciding with the anime.
- World Cap Pikachu will appear in the wild, including a shiny one.
- Raids will include Snorlax, Ivysaur, Golurk, and Pinsir
- Cubone, Bulbasuar, Exeggcute, Dratini, Cyndaquil, and Scyther will appear much more frequently in the wild, with the possibility of encountering a Shiny Cubone.
- Shiny Cubone may also hatch from a 7km Egg, along with Riolu, Mantyke, Pichu, and regular Cubones.
- Trainer Goh may appear in a GO Snapshot, and the Pokemon Go website encourages trainers to take snapshots during the event to see what happens. There will also be Goh-related avatar items, so check out the shop during the event.
- Between November 5th (1pm PST) and November 16th (1pm PST), Lugia will once again appear during five-star raids (now with its Aeroblast attack). This will be through the event but also a little outside the event. So if you forget until after the event closes, don’t worry–you’ll still have until the evening on November 16th.
