In a series of Tweets on Friday, Seven Seas announced three new licenses that they’ve acquired along with their release dates. The new licenses include Dance in the Vampire Bund: A.S.O, Gal Gohan, and ROADQUEEN: Eternal Roadtrip of Love.
Dance in the Vampire Bund: A.S.O.
The first new license revealed was Dance in the Vampire Bund: Age of the Scarlet Order by Nozomu Takami, which continues the bestselling Dance in the Vampire Bund manga series.
“Age of Scarlet Order, abbreviated as A.S.O., follows the continuing adventures of Mina Tepes, the revolutionary queen of the vampires. Along with her faithful werewolf bodyguard Akira, Mina will not rest until vampires and humans can coexist in peace–even when certain factions of the world want her dead.”
Seven Seas is also re-releasing the original volumes of the Dance in the Vampire Bund series in digital format. This makes the whole series available easily to everyone.
Dance in the Vampire Bund: A.S.O. will begin publishing the release of volume 1 on October 8th, 2019 for $12.99 USA / $15.99 CAN.
Gal Gohan
The second license revealed was for the school comedy manga, Gal Gohan by Marii Taiyou. It’s new manga that’s coming to North America for the first time and it’s about “food, fashion, and fun!”
“Okazaki Miku is a “gal”: a fun-loving high school student who expresses herself through bleached hair, sexy clothes, and heaps of accessories. Unfortunately, she’s also flunking every class. When she asks her Home Economics teacher, Yabe Shinji, to help her bake bribery cookies for her disappointed teachers, she finds a new excitement in that small success–and Shinji is moved by her enthusiasm. Gal Gohan is serialized by Young Animal and has been running since December 2016. The series is still running currently and it’s now on its 7th volume.

ROADQUEEN: Eternal Roadtrip to Love
The last new license revealed was for ROADQUEEN: Eternal Roadtrip to Love by Mira Ong Chua. This graphic novel is a yuri story that was funded through Kickstarter last year. It’s a comedy and girl’s love romance about “motorcycles and romance”.
“Leo’s the hottest senior at Princess Andromeda Academy, and her adoring fangirls have one goal: to beat her in a road race so she’ll go out with them. Unfortunately, the only thing Leo loves more than breaking hearts is her faithful old bike, Bethany. But the arrival of mysterious new student Vega upends her daily routine forever.”
The new lesbian romcom will be released as a manga-style graphic novel with the entire first chapter being in color.
ROADQUEEN will be published by Seven Seas on October 8th, 2019 for $15.99 USA / $18.99 CAN.
