The My Hero Academia website announced two voice actors playing the villains in the upcoming My Hero Academia the Movie 2: Heroes Rising.
The new villains for the movie are Chimera and Mommy. Kouhei Horikoshi, the manga author of My Hero Academia, designed both villains.
Shunsuke Takeuchi voices Chimera. Takeuchi known for other roles such as Producer (IDOLM@STER) and Archer (Fate/Apocrypha).
Kousuke Toriumi voices Mommy. Toriumi has voiced Guida Mista (JoJo: Golden Wind), Kiyotaka Ishimaru (Danganronpa). and Junpei Iori (Persona 3).
Here’s the synopsis for My Hero Academia the Movie 2: “Even though All Might was admired by [many] all around the world, it was with a sad heart that he had to give up his hero role as the Symbol of Peace. Because of this, a dark force who was moving behind the scenes, a villain named Nine who can be considered the greatest villain thus far.”

There’s also going to be an early screening of the movie on December 5th. To also promote the movie, the official Twitter for the series is hosting a contest where fans retweet for a chance to see the Heroes Rising movie premiere! Maybe you’d have a chance to see it, who knows? With season 4 just starting and going strong, there’s no stopping the My Hero Academia franchise!
