The newest trailer for the third My Hero Academia movie was posted to TOHO’s YouTube channel on June 15, 2021. The trailer reveals a new theme song for the film, My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission, and gives fans a look at more of what the My Hero Academia team is up to.
The new theme song is “Empathy” by Asian Kung-Fu Generation, who are certainly well known for their songs being used alongside anime.
My Hero Academia Film Synopsis
The trailer revealed a bit more about what the third My Hero Academia movie will be about. Izuku Midoriya is accused of mass murder right off the bat. Meanwhile, an unknown organization that is dedicated to essentially ending all people with Quirks has sent out a threat and placed bombs throughout the world.
Pro Heroes and characters such as Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugou, and others are working to find the bombs.
The voice cast from the anime series have reprised their roles. Joining the cast for the film is Ryo Yoshizawa, who will voice Rody, and Kazuya Nakai as Flect Turn, the leader of the mysterious organization in the film.
Opening Date for the Film
Currently, the third My Hero Academia film is only set for release in Japan. My Hero Academia: World Heroes Mission will release in theaters on August 6, 2021.
There is no North American release date just yet.
