More information for the upcoming second season of The Devil is a Part-Timer has been revealed. The announcement came from the Dengeki Bunko Winter Festival Online 2021 event on Sunday. The main reveal was a brand new promotional video for the anime sequel. The event and the video announced the series brand new cast member, producing staff, debuted a new key visual and a premiere date of July 2022.
The Devil is a Part-Timer Staff Changes
From the new production crew changes: Daisuke Tsukushi (Isekai Cheat Magician, Girl Friend Note) is coming on to direct, replacing Naoto Hosoda. Furthermore, Studio 3Hz is now in charge of production for The Devil is a Part-Timer, replacing White Fox on the second season. Masahiro Yokotani, Ryosuke Nakanishi, Akemi Tejima, Jin Aketagawa, and Lantis are returning as the series script supervisor, musical composer, color key artist, and music production company respectively. Character designer Yūdai Iino and chief animation director Yoshihiro Takeda replace Atsushi Ikariya, who served both roles in the first season.

The returning cast members include:
- Ryota Ohsaka as Sadao Maō/Demon King Satan
- Yōko Hikasa as Emi Yusa/Heroine Emilia
- Nao Tōyama as Chiho Sasaki
- Yūki Ono as Shirō Ashiya/Demon General Alciel
- Hiro Shimono as Hanzō Urushihara/Demon General Lucifer
- Kanae Itō as Suzuno Kamazuki
The original light novel series by Satoshi Wagahara inspired the first anime adaptation of The Devil is a Part-Timer in 2013. Funimation streamed the anime as it aired, and released the anime on Blu-ray Disc and DVD in 2014.
