Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Gets Trailer and Release Date

Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War

Just in time for the holiday season, we officially have a new trailer for Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War. On December 18, 2021, a new trailer was released during the Shueisha Jump Fest 2022 event. The anime is set to premiere in October 2022. Also revealed in the trailer is the fact that this arc will cover the rest of the Bleach story through the end of the manga.

Finishing the Storyline

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War will follow the final arc of the Bleach manga. When the anime ended in 2014, the last arc covered was the Lost Substitute Shinigami arc. This essentially left the anime unfinished. Fans were left disappointed, even as the manga’s conclusion followed in 2016.

The final arc sees main character Ichigo Kurosaki returning to the supernatural landscape. Chaos is unfolding as Hollows start to appear more frequently in the World of the Living. Ichigo and friends, as seen in the trailer, take on new opponents and display new powers.
