Konosuba Film comes to US on November 12th
Crunchyroll and Fathom Events announced this week the US premiere of Konosuba: Legend of Crimson will through Crunchyroll Movie Night. The event takes place in over 600 theaters across the country on November 12 at 7:00 PM local time.
The US debut includes exclusive interviews with actors Jun Fukushima (Kazuma) and Rie Takahashi (Megumin). These give fans a behind the scenes look at the new film.
“Crunchyroll Movie Nights are a powerful way for anime fans to connect with other fans in the Crunchyroll community,” said Mary Franklin, Crunchyroll head of events. “We are excited to present this new Konosuba film for them, which we’re bringing to the U.S. only months after its premiere in Japan.”
“I want to have your babies, Kazuma!” This unexpected confession from Yunyun, a girl from Megumin’s hometown of Crimson Demon village, triggers a series of events that has the party facing their greatest threat yet. Hilarity and adventure awaits in “Konosuba: Legend of Crimson”!
Fans can purchase tickets for the film now, with more theaters to become available through the week. Konosuba: Legend of Crimson released in Japan on August 30, 2019 to positive reception. Previously, Crunchyroll and Fathom Events brought premieres for Saga of Tanya the Evil, Mob Psycho 100 II, and Yuri!!! on ICE.

To celebrate the debut, Crunchyroll Loves is also releasing an exclusive Konosuba: Legend of Crimson capsule collection. It features six items, including a special tee with art from the film. The collection will drop early November on the Crunchyroll Store.
Crunchyroll Digital Drops, a new app from Crunchyroll, is also launching a sticker collection. The limited Konosuba-themed pack features chibi art of Kazuma and the party. Fans can find the sticker pack by downloading the app. Fans should stay tuned for more limited edition stickers only given away in theaters.
