My Hero Academia is getting another movie after taking the hit anime scene by storm! The news comes from the “2019 PLUS ULTRA STAGE” which took place during AnimeJapan 2019.
A news post on the official website and Tweet on the official Twitter have also posted about the second movie. TOHO animation also uploaded the promotional preview for the movie onto their YouTube channel. The new movie is set to release in October of this year.
Kenji Nagasaki will return to direct the film while Yosuke Kuroda will be writing the screenplay. The manga’s creator, Kōhei Horikoshi, will also be returning again as well to assist with the new movie. Though, not much else about the new movie has been revealed yet.

In the previous movie, My Hero Academia: Two Heroes, All Might, Deku, and most of his classmates went to the world’s leading exhibition of quirk abilities and hero item innovations. The movie mainly focused on All Might’s co-workers and his backstory.
There doesn’t seem to be any stopping for the My Hero Academia cast. This is the series’ second movie, with the 4th season of the anime being announced during the finale of latest season.
