Demon Slayer fans in North America and Europe can celebrate! The new game coming out for Demon Slayer will be arriving in North America and Europe on October 15, 2021 from SEGA. The game is titled Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinomaki Chronicles and will be available on the following platforms:
- PS4
- PS5
- Xbox One
- Xbox Series X|S
- PC through Steam
Initially announced in 2020, the game is being developed by CyberConnect2.
Demon Slayer Game Versions and Price
SEGA will release two versions of Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinomaki Chronicles. The standard edition (both physical and digital) will be available for $59.99 and the digital deluxe edition will be available for $69.99.
The digital deluxe edition will include more character unlock keys, specific costumes, and more.
Pre-order incentives from SEGA differ for each edition, including the PS4 custom theme, additional character unlock keys, and character avatars.

Demon Slayer Game Synopsis
Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinomaki Chronicles will be an arena fighter game that follows the events of the anime series and the film.
SEGA’s synopsis of the game describes it as follows:
Become the blade that destroys demons!
It is the Taisho Period in Japan. Tanjiro, a kindhearted boy who sells charcoal for a living, finds his family slaughtered by a demon. To make matters worse, his younger sister Nezuko, the sole survivor, has been transformed into a demon herself. Though devastated by this grim reality, Tanjiro resolves to become a “demon slayer” so that he can turn his sister back into a human and kill the demon that massacred his family.
A sorrowful tale of siblings in which the fates of humans and demons intertwine… begins now!
The Hinokami Chronicles is a spectacular arena fighter from the team at CyberConnect2 that lets players relive the memorable moments of “Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc” and “Mugen Train Arc.”
Follow Tanjiro through the story from the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime as he faces demons in order to turn his sister Nezuko, who has become a demon, back into a human.
