Kadokawa just dropped the newest trailer for Re:ZERO season 2 along with a July 8th release date. Along with the airing date was a preview of the newest opening song, “Realize” by Konomi Suzuki.
The previous announcement trailer showed the silhouette of the next antagonist Echidna, the Witch of Greed. This new preview shows us a clear image of her and along with a few scenes and the opening song.
UPDATE: It’s also been confirmed that the sequel will be a two cour split season. That means the first half will air this summer but the next last half won’t be coming until 2021. So while the full season will be 25 episodes long, you’ll have to wait awhile after the summer season is over for the conclusion.
